A perennial favorite, this is a super fun cruise through towering rock formations and some of the Gallatin River's most popular rapids.
This is typically the best Gallatin River rafting trip for families with young children from May to July 1st. A bunch of great soakings and the occasional wildlife sighting make this an amazing adventure. This is one of the Yellowstone regions best trips for first timers and white water rafting with young children. The closest rafting to West Yellowstone, Montana. All trips depart from Big Sky, Montana. Availability in August is water level dependent. During high water this trip is a wet ride with big class III rapids, minimum age varies based on river conditions.

A great trip for anyone who desires a mellow cruise through stunning scenery, soaking up all the Big Sky, Montana has to offer. The closest rafting to West Yellowstone. Full Day White Water Rafting Trip on the Gallatin River

Arrive at 9:45 AM and return around 4 pm. Whether you just can't get enough of the guide's humor or you're just hoping for the best day on the river, the Full Day Rafting Trip on the Gallatin River is your adventure. Nothing beats pushing off into the Gallatin river on a clear sunny morning in anticipation of the days fun to be had.
The morning starts out relatively calm. Enjoy the sounds of nature, the Gallatin River's amazing scenery and maybe an occasional wildlife sighting. We try to stay dry and comfortable for a bit but that comes to an end as we navigate some of the Gallatin River's upper rapids like Portal Creek and Sheepeater. There will be time to use a restroom before we continue and then we'll gear up for the afternoon's thrills. This is where the Gallatin River lives up to it's reputation. Rapids like Screaming Left, Hilarity Hole and the infamous Mad Mile await. If you aren't wet enough by the end, we can always stop off at one of our favorite swimming holes before the end of the trip. |
