A few good soakings and the occasional wildlife sighting make this a great adventure. This is one of the Yellowstone regions best trips for first timers and rafting with young children. The closest rafting to West Yellowstone, Montana. Availability in August is water level dependent. At certain water levels this trip is a wet ride with big class III rapids, minimum age varies based on river conditions. Participants can exit the river at any point during the trip for any reason.

Our grand scenic tour glides you through the shadows of Lone Mountain, Big Sky's iconic peak and a favorite of Yellowstone visitors. This trip on the Gallatin River meanders through the upper canyon of the Gallatin River where we may even come upon deer, elk, moose, or a bear. A great trip for anyone who desires a mellow cruise through some of the Yellowstone region's most stunning scenery. The closest rafting to West Yellowstone. Whether you just can't get enough of the guide's humor or you're just hoping for the best day on the river, this Full Day Rafting Trip is your adventure. Nothing beats pushing off into the river on a clear sunny morning in anticipation of the fun to be had. The morning starts out on a relatively calm section of the Gallatin River. Enjoy the sounds of nature and maybe an occasional wildlife sighting. We try to stay dry at the start of the trip, but that comes to an end as we navigate some of the morning's rapids like Portal Creek and Sheepeater. For lunch, we pull over and enjoy a picnic featuring Big Sky's #1 rated sandwich. Don't worry, you don't have to make your own on the river! There will be time to use the restroom before we hop back on the river. After that, we will gear up for the afternoon's thrills. Rapids like Screaming Left, Hilarity Hole and the famous Mad Mile await. If you aren't wet enough by the end, we can stop off at one of our favorite swimming holes before the end of the trip. Minimum age restrictions vary with water conditions. Additionally, this trip may not always be available during certain water levels in the early summer. This trip can typically be altered to accommodate different ages and desired whitewater. Participants can exit the river at any point during the trip for any reason.

Located in West Yellowstone, the park is within walking distance of most hotels and only 3 blocks from the West entrance of Yellowstone. The Zipline Adventure Park features over a 1000 feet of ziplining thrills on 4 different family oriented ziplines. The giant ropes course features 49 challenge elements including spiderwebs, rope bridges, log bridges and much more! From 14 feet to 50 feet off the ground, the park offers an experience that will both thrill and challenge adventurers of all ages and levels. Rafting and Horseback Adventure
The Original - Paddle and Saddle!
Begin your day with a 2-hour trail ride with Canyon Adventures. This horseback tour will take you through the meadows of the Porcupine Game Range in Big Sky, Montana. The ride features panoramic vistas of surrounding mountains and great views of the Gallatin River. Bring your camera! Once you dust yourself off, you will drive (or walk!) the 1/4 of a mile to our headquarters to enjoy any of our Gallatin River half day whitewater rafting adventures. Before rafting, you will have time to change clothes, and check in for your trip. Once you return from the river and dry off, come check out the cool slideshow of your rafting trip. This package does not include lunch. This trip departs from our HQ in Big Sky, Montana. Only 45 minutes from West Yellowstone.
